Fiat Doblo 1.6 Diesel worn camshaft

Post by ktl2019 »

Hello
This Fiat smokes white (unburned diesel) and jerks when accelerating.
According to the injection quantity deviation, it affects the 2nd cylinder.
Compression on all cylinders is between 20 and 21 bar. (little low but engine starts and run)
Pressure loss test on all cylinders between 5 and 10 %
When injectors 1 and 2 are swapped, the error does not move

I have now measured the intake manifold pressure with a piezo pressure sensor and the current consumption of the first cylinder with a piezo pressure sensor.

But can someone explain this waveform, how can i identify the worn camshaft of the 2. cylinder
Made this test the first time.

My english is very bad, have translated this with google translator.
Maybe one guy here also speak german and can explain it.

it’s a great capture.
Looking at it I am surprised you had good compression as it looks like there is no intake pull at all.
Do you have a wps to go in-cylinder?
