USB cable

Post by CycleImp »

I Need 3.5 to 4 metre USB 3.0 Cable to hookup my 4425 Scope and I do not see one listed on your site. Any recommendations on where to find a good quality one?

Hello,

You can use a USB 2 cable to connect to a 4425 scopes and we have a 4.5m one available on our website.

https://www.picoauto.com/products/test- ... -2.0-cable

I've used this one often for off highway applications and not had any issues. The only time that you may see a USB2 cable not up to the task is when looking at FlexRay signals as the data speeds over USB2 aren't enough.

Hope that helps.

Kind regards

Ben

Hello,

I can only recommend the cables that have been selected by Pico for our products. I think the issue with USB3 over longer distances is the potential voltage drop which may cause power issues to the scope.

I'm sure there are others using alternative cables with our products who would be better placed to advise.

Sorry I can't be any more help.

Kind regards

Ben
