Re: TA 473 clamp and current multiplier question

Thank you for the response. To call the applicability with your words challenging may be considered a not minor understatement, :D . On A/F sensors it might be more than that. I was aware of Frank's video and will go over it again, it seems more practical to me to go for the voltage measurement. Gre...

TA 473 clamp and current multiplier question

The 60 amps BNC+ clamp (TA 473) is described as suitable for current measurements on broadband a/f sensors, in conjunction with a current multiplier.

What exactly would this current multiplier be? Some kind of looping the current carrying wire? Is there a specific Pico product?

Windows 11 and Pico 7?

Would you recommend a Windows 11 OS for Pico7 at this moment? If not, how long do you expect will it take until it is "recommendable"?

Thank you.

Pico diagnostics battery test

markers_1.jpg Within the graph of the generated report of the battery test several vertical black lines come up. What exactly do they represent and is there a pattern to these markers? While the first one always seems to mark the point of max. current draw and voltage drop the last one may show the...

Re: Invert channel + invert trigger

Thank you Steve for the reply. I was thinking of an ampclamp signal or an secondary ignition pattern upside down/vice versa. When triggering on these and inverting the signal trace the stable pattern on the screen gets lost becasuse the trigger will stay "on the other side", be it positive or negati...

Invert channel + invert trigger

May it be possible to invert the trigger setting automatically as well when inverting a channel´s trace? Thank you.

Re: Pico diagnosic comp 100% gauve 0bar

When all cylinders are equally bad then this will effectively result in similar readings for all cylinders on RC(relative compression) ok  You may check the current consumption and cranking speed: with zero compression the starter will draw less current than normal and the cranking speed will...
