Re: Transporter 2.0TDI CR Outs Temp sensitive

Now it's even a bigger challenge to find the root cause for your engine problems when a motor tuner has blurred the whole diagnostic picture with a new mapping of the ecu software. Now it is said - there are several different diagnostic paths that you could take - I would take a closer look at your ...

Re: Transporter 2.0TDI CR Outs Temp sensitive

Hi Bram It takes some time to interpretat those VCDS log file you have taken.I´ve seen both log files and particular the last PICO Log file are interesting to study in details. There are a couple things that dont look right and here I´m talking about actual value versus specified values in the highe...

Re: Transporter 2.0TDI CR Outs Temp sensitive

Hi Bram That's a tough challenge you are facing. Let me start by saying that I've have no solution to your problem - whatsoever. My first question will be - do you intend to diagnose this problem yourself ? My second question is - what diagnostic tools do you have availble besides the VCDS software ...

Re: abnormal cop 3 wire circuit design

Hi As seen in this wiring diagram which is from a Citroen 1.6 litre engine code ( EP6CDTX ), it's clear, that the primary ignition system are turned on and off inside the ECU and not at the ignition coil (COP). You used the attenuator on the picoscope which seen hindseided was wisely done if you don...

Re: Using edge count feature on crank sensor waveforms

It a very good feature which I sadly not have been using before - but I will in the future. I have seen some videos where this function would be "the only thing to use" and here I'm thinking about cam/crank relations.

Its really amazing what this software can do.

Re: P0103 code Passat 2003 AWT engine

Bjorn - That's a very high output voltage you got there.
No wonder that ecu get a high reading in terms of gram per second (g/s).

Re: P0103 code Passat 2003 AWT engine

Bjorn - The outcome of your maf testing will show you what direction you should take. The maf sensor output voltage can be higher than 5 volt as seen in my case study here !!!

Re: P0103 code Passat 2003 AWT engine

In that case it should be super easy to find It depends on how stable the Maf sensor signal are under test and here I'm thinking about glitches in signal - which of course is an easy task to see with the picoscope connected. If the signal looks good at the moment its being tested - it could lead yo...

Re: P0103 code Passat 2003 AWT engine

Hello

This DTC P0103/ 16487 is set as soon as the signal rises above 5 volts for longer than 0.5 seconds (engine speed below 2000 RPM ).
