It looks like CAN HI is shorted to ground. Is there any continuity between any CAN pins 6/14 and ground?
Disconnect the CAN gateway connector with CAN lines coming from OBD pin6/14 and post the measurement.
Do the same on good car.

The CAN signal on OBD socket comes from interface. Back probe CAN gateway pins for two wires coming from OBD pins 6/14 to check if you have the same signal from interface. Engine should not cut out for a CAN buss issue. It is a mater of powers/ grounds rather. So, scope them at ECM when engine stalls.
