Just wondering if you ever got to the root cause of the problem? I know that SAAB changed the specification for oil on these engines from semi-synthetic (as recommended in the owner handbook) to fully-synthetic because of this problem. Thanks Steve. Yes I'm looking for an intermittent fault on a Honda CRV glow plug circuit that keeps throwing the money light on. Is this the same as Corsa where the ECM is always under water as it is situated below the windscreen? If it is then new/refurb ecu required. Just a thought.

Wiggle test

Looking at the wiggle test in the waveform library it recommends using the BNC+ resistance probe.
Is it still possible to complete this test using the older 4425 and if so, how/what do you set up and how do you conduct the test.
