Starter current signature RPM

Post by mastertech02 »

Hi Pico group.
I am looking for help on how to apply math channel to accurately display RPM for starter current signature wave form during relative compression test.
Thanks for any advice.

Why not just place your two vertical cursors at 720 reference points, let the software display rpm, then multiply by 2 to get the approximate rpm?

It would make more sense to capture the CKP and build a Maths Channel off of that CKP wave.

Thanks Grant.

Was just trying to get it to work as in 'Math is Cool 1' using current signature and 60/3×Freq math as laid out in the example.
