To cut a long story short this came is a none runner after various people have been involved and it's had an engine swap after an overfill of oil.
Shows good (~300 bar) fuel pressure on cranking and enables start on that but will not CKP/CMP Sync so will not enable start. The cranking RPM seems slow at approx. 200 rpm but i don't think that's to much of an issue right now.
First check showed a faulty Cam sensor as there was no output but that has now been replace and is working fine.
The timing has been manually checked and pinned up and all lines up, and the capture was taken at the ECU back pinning.
I have attached the PSD file of the CKP/CMP. I wonder if when it has had the engine swap one of the sprockets is different but I don't have the engine code to hand, sorry!

What scan tool ?
Are you saying there that the sync status is ' NO ' ?
How did you get to the conclusion on cranking speed ?
Are the injectors being triggered ?
Hi,
Sorry to invade an old post but symptoms described sounds very similar to a similar vehicle dumped with us in a very dismantled state, is there any chance of a trace to compare with results we have captured.
Thanks
