floating ground

hi guys
I've looked in the help contents for "floating ground "
can anyone tell me what method this refers to , I beleive its to do with aquiring a clean trace ?

A floating ground is what the component works on, ie not 0V & for monitoring purposes.

Are you in the trade ?

great help guys thanks
yes I'm in the trade since 1985 and have a good understanding of scopes as I'm also into Radio , but getting used to a tool with as many options as a pico 4223 is taking me time
