Or would I be better off buying a new scope?

I myself have never used an ADC 212 so i cannot comment, but what i can comment on is the 4000 4 channel & i love it 8)

Iv been in the engine reconditioning game for twenty years but as times have changed iv been left behind with a lot of the electrical side of things but as its coming more common these kind of faults I need to try and learn more about it before I invest more money on a new one I don't no what I'm doing with this one yet but ill keep at it.

Thanks
