Hi Hello
I'm new on this forum PicoScope 4425A owner
I want to ask You about timing CMP and CKP in Nissan Micra 2003' 1.4 benzin
Why if lock vertical rulers (timing line) i have extend timing on ckp and cmp?
It does it mean that costumer have stretch timing belt ?
Hi.
First of all, you need to pay attention to the inverted signal of the camshaft sensor.
The signal plate is made with four groups of recesses.
The number of recesses corresponds to the serial number of the cylinder, where the upper dead center of the stroke is expected.
Accordingly, the sensor signal must have positive pulses with a number of teeth equal to the cylinder number.
Only after replacing the sensor ,the condition of the timing chain can be judged.
Thank you very much for your replay. Why are you writing about changing to new sensor ?
Are you suspect sensor damage? Actualy I'm after replacing to new. Recesses doesn't match like on your image.
