PICO HINTS and TIPS.

Post by Littlejohn »

I wanted to start a post on pico hints and tips to see what other people are doing.
So I'll start with this one on saving and sharing known good captures, I have now starting setting up the scope as below with the reference signals already loaded before saving and sharing my known good.
This way when you need to connect to another suspect engine the scope is already set up ready to compare the good and the bad on the same screen and great for others to not have to worry about settings such as math channel, time base and sample rate.
What do you guys think? any down side to this? Do you have any other good pico tips?

I always label the channels on the channel labels. Seems much more intuitive and does not take up screen space.

Click on the channel, click "display" edit the channel name.

Pretty sure I have a feature request in for just being able to click (or double/right click) on the channel name in the box to edit it directly which would make it easier, along with being able to turn the channels on/off from the channel box.
