Hello, during digital air flow meter measurements, I always have a frequency around 8-9 kHz at idle, no matter what brand of vehicle, is this normal? in the library, it is about 3khz and it increases rapidly after acceleration to about 6khz, my increase is very small slightly above 9khz, the connectors are connected well, no matter if I use guided tests or set them myself, I am asking for help because I do not know if I have damaged device, software or I doing something wrong .... Windows 10 on a yearly laptop. the same situation on pico6 and pico7 soft , device is 4425a automotive ...thank you.
Please accept my apology in this late reply and sorry to hear you seem to be having some problems with the frequency measurement. I have a few questions if that is ok.
You mention using PicoScope 7, is the stable or Early Access build?
Is it possible to provide the PSDATA file which you are referring too?
Have you tried to capture the raw signal and then apply a frequency math channel?
Thank you for the capture as it really helps to understand how to recreate the issue.
It appears that this was a problem that has now been resolved in the latest Early Access version. Would you be able to try this version of PicoScope 7 Automotive for me and see if you are still seeing the problem? You can have both versions of PS7 on you laptop without any issues.
I've just tried it with a signal generator and it is working as expected with the settings from the file you have sent.
