use of existing hardware from Fluke

Post by picofarina »

Dear Picotech Team
I am about to buy one of your Kits for the Automotive domain. Allow me a question, please.
I am already owner of a some equipment from Fluke, especially an AC/DC Clamp and an inductive pick-up. How does those equipment suit to your PicoBCN-system, is there any issue?
In other words can I still use these equipment without big interface changes and buy a Starter Kit instead of an Standard Kit?
Thank you for your answer and do not hesitate to contact me in case of further questions.
Best Regards
Kurt

Hello Kurt, thank you for the post and sorry for the late reply

Our Auto kits are now BNC+ which can be seen in action here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUX6G-anwzg

Now, whilst BNC+ has the advantage of probe recognition, power and zeroing, your existing BNC probes from Fluke (or any other manufacturer) will function with our BNC+ automotive scopes (No interfaces required)

You may have to set up a Custom Probe within PicoScope 7 Automotive software to ensure the correct scaling of any non-Pico probes. You can see this process here viewtopic.php?p=101246#p101246

If any of your probes utilize 4 mm banana connectors, you can add the following adapter https://www.picoauto.com/products/clips ... mm-adapter if required

I hope this helps, take care.......Steve
