So i dont use my scope as much as i would like but i have got it out to have a play today got a internal error in a abs pump on a mini cooper i removed the pump to replace and thought i would scope the canbus signals to see if it would give any indication of a fault what's everyone's opinion on this waveform

You can't test like this on table, as abs unit does not have termination resistors.Neither a can network with one device would not work, as there is no other unit to transmit can message confirmation.
Suggest you look a bit in can specifications standard.
