Has anyone experienced the live screen intermittently pausing for 20 to 30 seconds since the last update? It is always recording even when it does this because if you push stop and wait for the software to "catch up" it shows the part of your waveform you were missing on the screen. It's drawing the waveform in real time then it pauses so you wait and wait then ping every thing you just missed appears on the screen all at once? Ive done an uninstall and a reinstall but still the same. It's very annoying. Anybody else experienced it or even better what's the fix?
You will most likely have to uninstall/reinstall Pico software with a previous build. If you are using 6.13.6.3775 or above, the last known build without that bug is 6.12.7.2724 I believe.
What version are you using? The 6.13.6.3775 Release had this issue. It seemed to us to have been resolved in the 6.13.14.4038 Release but that one has more serious issues and crashes creating or editing custom probes.
yes I have the screen lock up problem, its a proper pain in the arse, thought it was laptop but it does it on both, seems with the software the more "improvements" the worse it is and us being the guinea pigs have to suffer while it's being sorted, as we use this software to earn a living it should be 100% before it's put out there
Years ago.... Pico would send us the software builds before release so we could break them before prime time. Sometimes we would find stuff that got fixed before they turned it loose in the wild.
We do have the largest group of Pico power users and some of them would be happy to assist as well I'm sure. The screen freeze issue was found by one of our group originally.
In fairness to Pico themselves, they do actually give all software away to their users for free. We must remember this even when we experience problems, its not the end of the world.
