when engine did fire intermittently with aid of starter, inj pulse read 18 ms as engine died out
Map sensor, tps , temp, all seem normal

Have you checked our Waveform Library? I found a trace relating to a 2004 Ford Focus, Injector Current and Voltage (taken when the engine was idling).
To find this waveform in the library:
Open the waveform library browser, and choose
Engine code: FFDA
This should show you two results. One of which is injector voltage and current.
Hopefully this will help, in the meantime perhaps others will be able to contribute here.
