Re: The Martins' Method

Hi all, I've been meaning to get an update out for this as PS7 now has XY view as per Steve's release notes for Early Access https://www.picoauto.com/support/viewtopic.php?p=103268#p103268. With XY now featured in PS7 this means that a protentional guided test can be on it's way for motor testing. T...

Re: latest early access is not able to save files

Thanks all, and thank you for sending it into support. Someone will pick this up tomorrow and get in touch. Sorry, I should have asked if it was PicoDiagnostics or PicoScope. Your screenshots have answered that. Thank you also RFMotors1 for your feedback. Hopefully we can get this rectified ASAP. Ki...

Re: Pico users.

Hello and welcome to the forum! If you have the thirst for knowledge and new things then it doesn't matter how old you are. I just wish I was able to retain it! The 4425 has some new features that you wouldn't have had on the old 3223. Whilst the following post isn't a direct comparison it does show...

Re: latest early access is not able to save files

Hi tintoverano,

I've been using 7.0.111 and I've been saving files both as new files and over old existing ones.

Could you drop support@picotech.com a message and we can take a look with the software team.

Kind regards

Ben

Re: Crank maths misfire

Hi Burt_100, As liviu has stated, it isn't always as clear cut different fuelling stratageries, pump characteristics such as number of pumping elements, SCV and pressure control can all play a part on the signal. Sometimes it's quite clear as below - Crank maths with misfire & rail pressure PS7....

Re: Deep cycle battery health check

Hi all and apologies for the late reply. I think we can all say that testing batteries is not an easy task and to quote from Steve Smith’s post - “There is no fool proof method for testing 100% of all battery faults (this includes the impedance test) but we can be on our guard when testing batteries...

Re: LIN Bus decoder & LIN Controlled Alternators

Hello Grant,

Just to let you and everyone know the upload file limit to the forum is currently set at 30MB. If trying to upload PSDATA files with a large number of buffers, trying saving just one buffer or a range that keeps it under this 30MB.

Hope that helps

Kind regards

Ben

Re: New Holland CR7.9 No DFR Function

Thanks for sharing this muttnjeff. It's always great to see the scope being used outside of the automotive and a combine is always pretty impressive! I need to digest this and then get back to you on your comments about the UCM. It maybe that another measurement may have revealed the answer. Thanks ...

Re: LIN Bus decoder & LIN Controlled Alternators

Hi Grant, Not a problem. Hopefully you can find the file here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-3aFRNHo-ECnUsonvwoNsTfFoACSZfUy/view?usp=sharing. Again too large to upload here and I will find out what the limit is for uploads to our forum. Unfortunately I was unable to open your CSV file. I will ...

Re: DEF level sensor

To help with decoding, the J1939 decoder makes everything that little bit simpler. As the SA is the last byte in the header, the decoder can be used to easily identify an ECU that is missing or causing corrupt data. You can see more on the decoder here - https://www.picoauto.com/support/viewtopic.ph...
