Re: show how to connect

Ok here is the deal to Glenn and all others out there in Pico automotive scope land. I spent numerouse hours trying to get my 4423 or 4425 scopes to show test info and or connection help, and nothing ! After becoming very frustrated I called Pico in Texas USA. Asking for AuthorMike, but not willing ...

Re: show how to connect

I find that the two replies to Glenn's post are incorrect and were not researched before giving advise. In the latest download update of PicoScope 6 software there are places under Automotive that do not give hook-up or connection advise. The first thing that I opened gave me a waveform sample on my...

Re: Skipping

After reading your post, I took a peak at alldata to look at engine configuration. Firing order, intake manifold layouts ( upper and lower ), cylinder numbering and so on. #1 and #4 cylinders are both front cylinders left and right banks , they share a common intake runner and fire one right after a...

Re: 10:1 attenuator

The older 4423 and 4223 automotive Pico scopes had a max input voltage of 100 and utilize a 20:1 attenuator. The newer 4425 and 4225 scopes have a higher input voltage limit, and come with and would use the 10:1 attenuator.

Re: Waste spark wave form question

136 views of my post and no replies, Incredible ! Henri I used a 4423 4 channel picoscope with 2 pico PP178 secondary pickup leads. each of the leads look to have some kind of attenuator device built into it as the scope is only capable of a maximum of 100 volts input. Two coils molded into one plas...

Re: Pico 6 software update 6.10.11.15

Pico scope1.png Well when I go open the channel options window it is listed next to library, but it was not there before I did the update. The first update failed, so I did another and it went through ok. I have not learned how to use anything in the tools window where custom probes are located and...

Pico 6 software update 6.10.11.15

Right from the start I felt that my 4423 scope should be able to measure resistance. And I am very excited to see a resistance probe added to my channel options after my last software update ! But much to my dismay I can not make it work properly. I see all the ohms settings in the range selection d...

Waste spark wave form question

Dodge_Neon_2002_Petrol_Primary_VandA_20150118-0003.psdata After finding the reason for long cranking times on a 2002 dodge neon with a 2.0L inline 4cyl, I had time to play. The ignition system was my first choice. It is a waste spark system using one molded plastic housing containing two separate c...
