Is there anyone who had problems with the crank math function - I do have some problems with it. I'm not able to use this simple math crank(A,60) to calculate the RPM from this crankshaft position sensor (Hall) - the next button is grayed out, so Im unable to continue the process as seen in this ima...
Did you scan the ECU for possible diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) !. Seen at your psdata file there should be a potential DTC for high fuel rail pressure. A voltage reading at 3.679 DC at 1847 RPM is very high value and my best guess regarding the corresponding rail pressure are above the maximum 160...
I would like to share some hard earned experience with you picoscope users. As this topic title shows has it somethings to do with the combination of a picoscope test leads and a dual banana female jack to male bnc adapter manufactured bye Fluke (PM9082) and a milliamp current clamp (K2) which I use...
Hi Steve I have some information regarding the diagnostic trouble code P0441 which is not the same as yours P044100 - I dont know the meaning of the last two zeros in this DTC. Well before you get al too excited with this info here - which I think you should use as a overall guideline as this docume...
You should reset the adaptive value for crank position sensor (CPK) whenever a new sensor is fitted or flywheel is removed - according the P38 Range Rover Workshop Manual.
Thanks for reminding us all about the basic in voltage drop measurement. Sometimes we forget the basic when we are dealing with a faulty car and our focus are a somewhere else in terms of a diagnostic gameplan.
Hi John I agree with you Bjorn - the SCV is ground side switch. In terms of the 12 volt on boths pins of the SCV - that doesn't seem right unless you have measured the voltage with connector attached to SCV and the resistance is really low in the SCV - then you would get nearlly the same voltage rea...
Hi John What a nightmare ! Let me start by saying that I'm not a expert in Nissan engines, but I've collected some vital informations regarding some Nissan engines that may be useful in your case. Where to start ! Let us start bye looking at the measurement of commonrail pressure sensor which I find...
My first thought was to show how to create a custom probe for a rail pressure sensor which is used in many 1.6 and 2.0 TDI across the V.A.G. platform. To begin with I would say - it easy to make a custom probe if you have the right specifications / datasheet over this common rail pressure sensor whi...
