Re: Temperature Measurement and the Fluke 80TK

I think we may be talking at slightly crossed purposes, I was hoping to avoid using the Fluke 80TK and just plug a K type directly or via a cold joint into the Pico ... but I think I can answer that now for myself! The Pico 4x23 scopes have a resolution of 10mv, where a k type probe has a Thermoelec...

Accurate and Stable low amps measurement

Hi We currently use the Pico PP264 60amp (switchable to 20amp) amp clamp, in 20amp range using 10 windings to increase resolution, but find the clamp (we have 2 so it's not one clamp being in need of repair!) to wander over long periods. It wanders regardless of windings, the windings are used purel...

Re: Temperature Measurement and the Fluke 80TK

Hi FF Thanks, though not yet bought the Fluke unit, just looking to find out if anyone has used this (clearly your have!) and any issues (I assume none, as you did not mention any issues except calibration)... Has anyone else done any temperature work and what have you used? Anyone using a direct K ...

Re: Xenon HID headlight diagnosis

Just found this Fluke 80K-40 High Voltage Probe The 80K-40 is a high voltage probe designed to extend the voltage measuring capability of an AC/DC voltmeter to 40,000 volts peak AC or DC Overvoltage Category I. This means the probe can only be used to make measurements on energy limited circuits wit...

Xenon HID headlight diagnosis

Hi I was just having a browse of some old posts, and noticed someone else has asked a similar question but with no answers given ... so excuse the repost but we've hit the same problem When trying to diagnose the failure of a Xenon light, is there an empirical way to confirm the bulb verse the ignit...

Temperature Measurement and the Fluke 80TK

Hi Has anyone used the Fluke 80TK to measure temperatures? How did you find it, is it any good or are there better alternatives? We would like to be able to measure temperature in several scenarios, so overall range is important, from exhaust catalysts to interior ambient and air con output, to moto...
