Re: Subaru Tribeca P0420

HI Speck is likely right AFR vs 02 . Forget the pre cat measurement and recheck the post cat. Engine temp up - cat temp up 300 deg C + . At steady throttle 1500 > 2000 RPM post cat sensor [standard 4 wire 02 sensor] should read steady on the rich side up to 700mv and be stable - if the signal fluctu...

Re: VW Fuel Metering Valve voltage

Hi Brad H KOEO if the voltage across the battery is normal , the high voltage at the FMV may be due to some form of bleed off or voltage leak from the injector capacitor circuit ? as the ECU has been modified I would be conferring with the tuner. Also check ECU voltage inputs are normal. You are for...

Re: Renault Kangoo K9K diesel no start

One other point , where extensive fuel system removal and replacement has been carried out I have struck occasions where the supply line has been swapped with the return line hence no pressure , not sure if this could happen in your situation ??? Cheers Ron

Re: Renault Kangoo K9K diesel no start

Check Pico Automotive - Sensors - Fuel Pressure - Common Rail Diesel. the capture will show you need 1+ volts to start and idle the engine , assuming the sensor is ok you need to check the pressure control refer to Pico Training Videos Frank Massey's #7 and #8 they should steer you in the right dire...

Re: VW 3,2 L V6 CAM/CRK vs OBD-Tool

Hi Turbo In response to your query re proof of cam crank relativity take a look at the two attachments the diff between the ex cams is 10 deg and the intake cams is 16 deg , your VVTs were unplugged I would assume the good vehicle was plugged in so probably more questions than answers , unless we kn...

Re: VW 3,2 L V6 CAM/CRK vs OBD-Tool

Your crank pattern does not show the usual increase and decrease in voltage associated with power and compression strokes [does it idle smoothly] . Looking at the missing teeth reference signal you can see a two teeth difference between the good and yours plus an alignment difference between the inl...
