Has this been the only vehicle you've tried the COP probe on with no success? I'm not directly familiar with Renault's, but it is quite possible that the coils are just shielded that well. If that's in the exhaust, that FLS pattern looks upside-down to me.

I suspect you are getting tripped up by the fact that you are seeing the waste-spark patterns in your ignition waveform.

I suspect the reasoning has a lot to do with the wide variety of strategies used to actuate the injector(s). Some operate on 5 volts, others over 100.
