Re: Using the rotational rulers

Of course these measurements are not 100% since your 720* are measured in a straight line, which is wrong to start off with. Has more or less nothing to do with the speed of the engine. Degrees a spaced out in a circle and not in a straight line. Hope that sounds logical.

Re: Using the rotational rulers

Hi Technician, once you have placed the rotational rulers you only need to move one of the rulers in the left
hand corner and the degrees will show up in the top box. hope that's what you wanted to know.

Hi, hopefully Tom Roberts at Autonerdz has put you right where injection takes place, also Technician has spent some time to give you something to think about.

Re: Nissan Micra CAM/CKP known good needed

Hi ,cam flop occurs on very new engines too. Don't need to have any worn parts (chain or gear). The oil pressure is just
not enough at times, also at idle. However cam flop is not the cause of a no start.

Different engines and even same engines but different years can have different patterns.
Hi, same engines have the same pattern, if not , they are not the same. We are not talking about an identical engine.

Hi, don't know about damaged cam reluctor, however here is a good waveform without cam flop which you can see
in the original post and Fat Freddy's pic.

Re: non start, range rover p38

Hi, sorry my mistake, your rpm is about 180, your KV is also very low with this kind of compression. looks like you
got a sync. probe connected not a secondary lead.
