Re: 02 Sensor Heater resistance tolerance

I would like to make a correction of my earlier posts regarding the Bosch heating element resistance of 30 Mohm. I have misinterpreted this info from Bosch - it is not correct, that there is 30Mohm in heating element of a Bosch Lambda Sensor, when it is fully warmed up. It is however still true - th...

Re: 02 Sensor Heater resistance tolerance

Hi Avdr I wasn't totally clear in my statement - i apologize for this. The fact is that it is taken from two sources - one from a official document from Bosch regarding the resistance in the heating element and the other about the values of current running through the lambda sensor is taken from a d...

Re: 02 Sensor Heater resistance tolerance

Hi Avdr It's not that simple - just putting a 9 ohms in the lambda circuit. To start with - the heater element in a lambda sensor does have a resistance of 9 ohm when it is cold and when the engine is warmed up - will there be a resistance change in the heater element. The resistance in the heater e...

Re: Accurate and Stable low amps measurement

I did some intensive search on the internet regarding finding the specifications on standard/Mini fuses. What i was interested in - were the resistance through the fuse and i found a document from LittelFuse which is a manufactor of automotive fuses. Based on this document and in conjunction with th...

Re: Accurate and Stable low amps measurement

Hi FioranoCars There is also another way of measuring parasitic current drain in a car today. The way Volkswagen does it on - is by measuring the voltage drop across a known fuse and then convert this value to milli ampere from a conversion table - its called a (Current Consumption Matrix). What i d...

Re: Skoda 1.4 tdi crank sensor

Hi crcoops I have seen your movie and i think there is some disturbance of the crank position sensor signal - especially on cylinder number 2. A other thing that i find a little odd is the position of the crankshaft signal related to the cylinder id from the camshaft senor - from the image that i ea...

Re: Skoda 1.4 tdi crank sensor

Here on this image which is taken from a 1.4 TDI LUPO - can you see that a full crankshaft rotation - need three separate signals per revolution. On the image you have taken - is it difficult to see whats really is going on. Have you inspected the wiring and the connector for possible damage or loos...

Re: HI all new member please help

A oscilloscope image of the crank position sensor would be nice to have - of that simple reason that it rules out a lot possible causes to the problem. I have found some info regarding the DTC P0320 from a document that covers Ford OBD System Operation - This is direct copy from the document : First...
