You can't really check a 4 wire AFR sensor with a scope, provided you own or have a milli. amp clamp.Check them with a scanner, easiest way to do.


Why cant an AFR be checked with a scope. Thanks.

Trying to upload the waveform but the file is too large. I measured some captured events and most burn times are about 425ms and 321ms. Thanks for the assistance pointing out the lean misfire, my focus was on the noise during the dwell time. I only had about a half hour with the vehicle, but will ma...

Hi, Im new to picoscope and vehicle diagnosis, in possession of my 4425 scope a week now and the first vehicle I decided to poke around in gave me some weird ignition waveforms.
