HOW TO USE PICOS COPE 3000 series for continious data record

I Got a AUTOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTIC KIT WITH 4 CH PICOSCOPE. I want to use it for online data recording through PICOLOG software. When i am trying to record it , it doesnt respond. whats is the solution??
