Hey everyone, thanks for having me! I'm Matt, auto tech, recently got into the scope world.
My budget is tight and I was looking at a few of the lower-end scopes that are out there, but inevitably I ended up picking up a 2205a on Amazon tonight. I can't wait to get it! I'm aware it's the low end of the spectrum but I was just looking to get something basic but nice as a starter/intro to the scope world.
Please note that the 2205a will not work with the PicoScope 6 Automotive , or diagnostic software, and will not allow you access to the Waveform Library.
It does not have the same level of input protection, or vertical input ranges, as the Automotive Scopes, so please use it with extreme caution as using it as an automotive scope will invalidate the warranty.
The quality of the waveforms you will be able to see are significantly lower than those on an Automotive Scope,
