I have U2103 C and U2105 DTC,Opel Vectra C 2003 Z16XE on all ECUs connected to high speed CAN bus.
Signals seems to be good, tried to change CIM module, the gateway between low and high peed bus,but still have DTC
Field Remedy: 1441
Subject: CAN BUS - Stored TC
Vectra-C 2002...2003
Remedy:
Due to the CAN-Bus self diagnosis function different diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) can be stored in the ECU although no ECU malfunction can be observed. The below listed DTC's require a special handling, deviating from the working description in the checking procedure.
Two different categories are to distinguish:
1) DTC present, no malfunction shown in Pos. 1.
2) DTC not present, no malfunction shown in Pos. 2.
In general all DTC's with the status "history" have to be ignored, if no plausible ECU malfunction can be referred to the DTC, or no customer complaint is reported.
U2105-U2149 all Contr. CAN-Bus no Communication with XXX units (Name of Control Module)
No malfunction DTC is not present All vehicles.
ignore.
EHPS(Electrohidraulic Power steering:
U2139:Invalid signal from CIM(Steering column module) present
SRS:
U2139:invalid signal from CIM present
Here you have 2 different control units (EHPS & SRS) that they are getting an "Invalid" signal from CIM. I would interpret that as the CAN is good however the messages on the network are corrupt, a software issue rather than Hardware.
The CIM is the "CAN Gateway" in that car !
You could remove everything off the High Speed Network and leave just
1. CIM & EHPS,
then CIM & SRS
next CIM, SRS & EHPS
If any of the removed units carry the Terminating resistors then you will have to emulate those into the loom to stop the bounce and the rounded edges.

Steering angle sensor is incorperated in to the CIM Module on these cars, the invalid data could be incorrect steering angle data. You should be able to look at the steering angle via ABS/ESP data.
To add on this old topic. Why all this. Someone changed CIM and on vectra c, SAS is either inside CIM either inside EHPS. Therefore, when either CIM or EHPS had been changed with incompatible units, it is normal that such errors occur.
