Maths Channel

Post by s4c »

Hi

Can someone help with a maths formular to make a maths channel for fuel pressure.

I would like to make one to trace the high pressure rail voltage and turn it into pressure on a common rail diesel.

Regards

Simon

So how is one to do that without the pressure sensor data or even system ( and would more likely be a custom probe) ??

Hi Robski

You could be right. I will play with the probes.

I was thinking that if you know that say 0.5 Volts is 0 bar and 4.5 Volts is 1600 bar there must be a maths channel/Custom probe to calculate this.

Any help would be be great

Simon

Hello and thanks for the posts.

I think the custom probe setting would be the way to go as Robski mentioned.

Could you take a look here at http://www.picoauto.com/support/topic98 ... 20pressure

Here you will find a custom probe produced for a Denso system and a great discussion surrounding the technique.

Can you let us know how you got on?

Take care.....Steve
