Automotive CAN Diagnostics

Post by Tom Yates »

I am looking for a Scope to carry out CAN diagnostics and general Auto testing, which one of your units and software would you recommend.

Auto Kits

Hi Tom,

I would suggest one of the automotive kits with the 3000 series scopes. The two channel kit with the 3223 or the four channel kit with the 3423. Either of these are quite capable of acquiring any automotive signal in detail, including high speed CAN. Both of them have 20MHz ADCs and 512K sample buffers, plus automotive specific features and capabilities.

Here at Autonerdz in the US, our kits have additional hardware and also include our exclusive training and support package in addition to the stellar support from Pico direct.
