Hello Pico Users

Post by Tim Gray »

Hi

I have just joined the forum as I need some help.
Have used the pico in an educational environment for a while and am finding my way round it.
Find it quick and easy to get good results with most of the time.
Recently having trouble reading abs sensors, have tried 3 different vehilces using the auto set up but am not relly getting the results I should.
Just wondering if I am not spinning the wheel quick enough or should I ignore the auto setting and try adjusting the settings manually. Any thoughts or views. :)

Ford Focus for example, autosdata tells me they have a magneto resistive sensor with 2 wires and to test it use a amp clamp spin the wheel and you should see 7 - 14 milli amps I think it was.

The info I have shows magneto resistive types of abs sensor with 3 wires?? confusing eh
