WPS waveforms

Post by Damian Mc Bride »

Hi guys was just playing with WPS on a K12 micra today i took a capture of exhaust pressure and current on cyl 4 coil.
I disconnected an injector in the middle of the capture can you pick whitch cylinder it is and tell me how you came to a choice.

Next is a cranking compression waveform, any tips on setup or dose the setup look ok. I have a lot of learning to do now :D
Thanks Damian

Works out @ cyl #1 to me going by +1 rule.......

I'm not sure what you're asking with the cranking compression capture ?

Did you have the throttle wide open as you would with a gauge ?

Hi yes it was cyl 1 injector disconnected. :)
So to work it out do you +1 to the cyl that lines up on screen to allow for length of exhaust.

Rob the cranking compression test i was just checking is that how you would set up for taking capture for your libarary or would you leave out the cam/crank.
On this K12 you have to remove plastic housing with throttle body to get at spark plugs so no air restriction on cranking compression.
Thanks Damian
