Cant install Pico software

Ive just got another laptop and im trying to install pico software, Ive downloaded the software to the harddrive and tried to install it and also I have it on a USB mem stick, Ive installed it from the mem stick a few times before not problem, this time Im getting this message, Ive done all the windows updates but still getting the same message

Liteace,

Looks to me like the installer was unable to download the required Microsoft DOT NET framework. Was the PC online when this happened? If not, that would likely be the problem. The installer has to be able to go get it.

Yep it was online, I had 2 mins before downloaded the Pico software ?

I have not seen a PC in a very long time that didn't come preloaded with DOT NET. Is this an old PC?

Maybe the download failed for one reason or another (slow connection?)

What OS? Version?

I'm sure the Pico team will have better input for you.

Check to see if DOT NET is on the PC. If it is, you may need to repair it or reinstall manually.

All sorted I clicked on custom when doing a windows update and it found yet another net framework
