TA018 current clamp

Post by s4c »

Hi

I have the Pico TA018 current clamp.

I accidentally left it switched on over the weekend and of course the battery went flat.

However, now I have replaced the battery, the green light comes on but there are no readings on the scope.

My question is, could leaving the unit switched on cause it to fault?

Regards

Simon

I've done that as have many others but I've not heard that it has stopped working afterwards before ?

Hi

I have checked the wiring from BNC to board. Run a soldering iron over the board. Still no go.

Have ordered a new one.
