Battery test result!

Post by Dan@KCC »

Hey guys,
Can the software be updated so that the actual condition result i.e Battery is good etc actually comes out on the printout?

For the customer it's the only bit that's important and it's not there!

Cheers

Hello Dan

i get the feeling we have met before

I have only used this feature once up to press & this was when a new battery had been fitted,it failed according to the test, but i did have a USB connection problem at the time :x

What do you think of the feature having probably used it more than me :?:

Cheers
Rob.

Hey I know you!

Only used it a couple of times but it seems ok. I always change the battery test options on the options... tab at the top to suit the battery being tested. Changed the ambient temp. today too as it's frickin' freezing in here! Did a test on a new battery today, said good but needs charging (had been on the shelf for a while) and it came out as a good battery after it had run for a bit.

Just need the printout to say good!

Dan

just a suggestion as i may have misread what you were saying. it might be wise to use a temp gun to determine the battery temperature instead of using ambient temp for this test.
