Universal Breakout Leads

Post by Peter704070 »

Hello

Not sure if this is in the right place, and I hope I don't upset Pico.

I work as a college lecturer and teach students how to use Pico Scope.

We have around 14 cars within our workshop and the students are having lots of fun trying to scope crankshaft sensor, mass airflow sensor as well as anything they can get to. Many want to do their own cars which is a sign that they feel comfortable using it.

The only issue is that the wires are now showing signs of wear. I know we should try to back probe through the connector but this isn't always possible.

We are looking at buying breakout leads;

But to be honest these are too expensive for us. We would like to make our own, not to the same standard and slightly different.

My question is where can I get Male and Female spade terminals, 0.6mm (Micro) and 1.5mm (Mini) from. I visited my local electrical shop but they cant get them from their supplier.

Thanks
Peter
