4423 and viewing multiple secondary ignition wavforms.

hello all

I've been trying to view live data from a twin cylinder motorcycle with my 4423 and 2 secondary ignition pickups (capacitive) on 2 channels. I'm only able to see 1 waveform at any one time and have to switch off a channel to view the other. I've tried different channels and no matter the channel combination i cannot view both signals at the same time. I have tried on pico 7 and on pico 6 software but not change in ability to display both signals.

The pickup leads look in good condition and so do the bnc connections on the scope side and lead side.

has anyone else come across this? Any ideas on what to try next? (yes, ive also thought about upgrading to a new scope, its on the wish list for now)
