2009 Iveco Daily IV 2.3 jtd 94KW No rail pressure

Post by GENU40 »

Hello
The van in the above title stalled and never started again.
I measured no pressure, flow coming from the high pressure pump to the injectors. So I replaced the pump with a new one.
I have no error codes.
So I backprobed the pressure regulating valve of the new pump on both wires on the van. In the attachment you can see the capture.
My question is if the wave is correct? I noticed going down to minus 2V. I don't think it's normal.
So now I am suspecting the ECU. Or maybe there is a procedure to pair up the new pump with the ECU that only dealers have it.Which I doubt.
Some advice would be welcome.
Please help me out.
Thank you.
Eugene

Hello,

To prevent anyone duplicating work, please can we use the existing post you started on the Diagnostic Discussion board as seen here - https://www.picoauto.com/support/topic23301.html.

There are some tests that need some clarification on this post which I think will help get direction on this fault.

Kind regards

Ben
