Motorcycle related. When trying to scope a 2 wire CKP sensor and say Primary voltage drop outs occur In the Primary waveform. I would assume because the VRS is a floating ground. Is there any way around this?
Could I ask how you are measure the CKP sensor? Also which PicoScope are you using to make this capture?
When it comes to floating CKP signals we have to be mindful about how we connect. In all events it would be wise to measure one side of the sensor with reference to ground.
Primary voltage will be high and I'm sure you are using an attenuator to protect the scope.
Let us know what you are using and how you're connected and we can support from there.
