Don't use auto-update. Download new installer from website.

I think I manage. But why a button check for updates while it does nothing ...

Because they use phased roll-out. Update via Picoscope will be activated little bit later.

Spot on volrem and thank you for updating this thread.

Yes, we use a slight delay between updating the website and pushing it to the software. Normally, this is between 1 or 2 weeks so most will not notice but for those keen to see the new updates please check the download page on www.picoauto.com/downloads.

Hopefully you should notice the stability of the software has been improved but if anyone is still having concerns, especially with 'freezing' problem, please get in touch by either the website or support@picotech.com.

Thanks to everyone for all your feedback this year. We will continue to push and make sure PicoScope is best it can be and we can't do it without you.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year and we look forward to whatever 2019 may bring us!

Kind regards,

Ben

Oh bummer. This latest build (6.13.14.4038) crashes when editing or creating a custom probe so these tasks are not possible.

That's also my experience after I installed the latest software. After some troubleshooting I found a solution to this problem - just change your regional language to danish - then it works flawless. I´ve have send a bug report to picoscope, so they know there are problem with this software version.

I've just run into this same problem with not being able to edit or define any new custom probes with 6.3.14.4038. Would anyone be able to tell me where I can download the latest previous stable version that does not have this issue? I don't see any previous versions available on the Picoauto website. I'm a Win 10 user in case that matters.

A big thanks in advance,
John

Use https://www.picoauto.com/download/softw ... _13_14.exe but change the last number to 11 for the previous version or 6
