Zoom on voltage fluctuation.

Post by mastertech02 » Tue Nov 12, 2013 10:32 pm

Advice required Please.

Can any one advise if it is possible to zoom in on the voltage fluctuations around a set voltage .

I have been trying to monitor the throttle potentiometer outputs between two banks of cylinders.
The voltage level at idle is approx 5v but there is a slight fluctuation between the two eg 4.8v-5.2v which i am finding hard to detect while monitoring.

Is it possible to zoom into the 5v and set full scale parameters between say 4.5v-5.5v so the fluctuation can be seen clearly.

This would also be useful during volt drop testing on power supplies or ground points and may be useful for detecting Magneto resistive ABS sensor voltage fluctuations or wide band lambda probe pump cell fluctuations.

Any help appretiated.

Have you tried playing with the scaling for the appropriate channel? (Bottom corners).
