Help
I have the above vehicle in my workshop. Non start. No fault codes stored. Corroded plug on crankshaft senor.Replaced sensor and plug with modified version from Renault.Still no start checked crank sensor with scope have a good pattern pretty much the same as the one in the pico libary but only approx.half the max voltage i.e 1volt max as opposed to almost 2volts shown on the libary picture. The switch rate is pretty much the same. Is this normal Renault or is this popssibly the problem?

What's the cranking speed in live data.

Not being rude but has it got the basics fuel spark and compression?

Thanks Robski

OP I don't mind a 1 volt peak on a VRS during cranking. But with this type of sensor you can have a good signal at the sensor and still have no signal at the PCM. Depending of course how you connected your scope and where you measured the signal from.
