PicoScope BETA 6.7.13

Postby Robski » Wed Jan 16, 2013 5:20 pm

Is there an issue with that release (as in title) :?:

I have downloaded it numerous times & tried to install, Pico diagnostics seems ok but Pico 6 Automotive does not, it will not open without error & goes no further than an error box ??

Given up on it for now ..............

OS :- XP Pro Tablet Edition.

Hi Rob,

I'll give this a go and get back to you (Windows 7 though). I'll also pass your feedback to Development.

What does the error box say?

Did you un-install the previous Beta first? Do you have Service Pack 3?

WORTH NOTING: Waveforms saved with this latest beta will not open in earlier versions of PicoScope.

Rob,

Thank you for reporting this bug. It appears that we inadvertently referenced a font which is not always available in Windows XP. The bug has been fixed and will be pushed out in a future beta release.

Until this fix is released, you can work around this bug by installing the font 'Segoe UI' which can be copied from a Windows Vista or 7 PC, or by installing Office 2007 or newer. I appreciate that you might not have access to either of these options.
