PicoScope 6.6.16 (which also contains PicoDiagnostics 1.4.30) is now available for download from http://www.picoauto.com/software.html.

This release does not add any significant new features but fixes several customer reported bugs so is a recommended download if you have been experiencing any issues.

This is a good release. Unfortunately, as I write this, the link for it is broken and so it cannot be downloaded.

So, in the meantime, let me provide a download link for the 6.6.16.12 so those who have been trying to get this can do so. This link will be valid for one week.

Tom - thanks for helping us out there.

The glitch with the servers was fixed on the 31st Dec 2011 (yes, our engineers work on New Years Eve :D ) so the normal software download is now OK.

Hi Alan,

I knew you were not running on all cylinders there either during the holidays so just thought I would put that up since we were getting some inquiries about the software status.

We had some web site issues here too that had to be dealt with. Why does that stuff always happen over the holidays?

Have another great year in 2012!

I have had crashes on every session so far with the 6.6.16.12 version, where it just shuts usually after i have just set the scope up, re-open it and its fine.... it will only happen once in every session... Anyone else experiencing this...

Hi Darren,

Thats odd as this release seems very stable.

When the software crashes does it offer the chance to save a crash report - if so please post it here or email it to support. Also from this window it should give you a chance to delete your start up settings which is worth doing in case they have become corrupted.

If you can come up with any sequence of actions / key presses that causes this crash that would be a great help for us to track down your problem.

Why does my sample rate keep changing back to a lower sampling (I think 50ms) every time I freeze the capture or change scales? Could it be because I was using the low pass filter? I kept trying to max out my pressure transducer tests for the best detail and it wouldn't let me.
