1981 924 Porsche Turbo-crank sensor

1981 924 Porsche Turbo-crank sensor

Help -can any one tell what type of crank sensor is fitted to a 1981 924 turbo Porsche - it has 3 wires it could be inductive or hall effect - help??? how can i tell - the confusing part is i have 6v coming from the ecu - but should i be getting any voltage with an inductive sensor with the 3rd wire being coaxil shielding -very confusing-p.s sensors appear to no longer available anywhere in the world hence the search for an alternative but i need to know what type of sensor im dealing with-thanks if anyone can help....

Back probe the signal wire and the pattern will tell you instantly what it is. :D
