can bus voltage

Post by rehtnap »

hi
is the canbus signal voltage per chanel and state. usually around the same values regardless of vehicle manufacture. i have typical guide figures of 2.5v on hi and low for the regresive signal and 3.5v for can hi , 1.5v can low on the dominat signal.
in the wave form database on here for can the voltages seem different to the typical guides given.

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for your post onto our Forum.

I have looked through the examples in the Software going over many builds and from what I can see our example waveform seems to be correct i.e.

CAN HI 3.5V to 2.5V
CAH LOW 2.5V to 1.5V

Could you let me know what version of software it is you are using or where you feel you have seen an example waveform which you feel is in correct.

I look forward to hearing from you
