Pico 4425 sometimes not turn on channel 2 and 4

Post by victor2k »

Hello,
In the last 4-5 months,in different situations the signal from channel 2 was affected(attenuated, with a lot of noise),now the signal is completely missing .
Sometimes work ok if the channel 2 is turned off/on from software.
Thank you

Hello and thank you for the post, sorry for the late reply

Could you confirm that Channel B (2) also has this symptom when using other probes?

I can see in your psdata file that moving the clamp from Channel C (3) to Channel B demonstrates our concern

I would like to know if this is the same when using a x1 test lead for example?

Could you confirm we have tried different software version too? (i.e. Early Access and Stable)

I ask about the software because turning the channel on/off can resolve the issue

This could well be an issue with the scope and dependent on the answers to the above questions we can get this resolved

Could you email support@picotech.com and we can arrange repair if required

I hope this helps, take care......Steve
