Hi
I measured the waveforms from the camshaft sensor and the crankshaft. The car is Nissan Qashqai J10 2007 M9R 150HP 2.0dci. With Qashqai M9R engine I did not find sample runs, but I found M9R from Nissan XTRAIL T31.
It is true that for me the signal from the camshaft occurs after about 5.5 teeth (signal from crankshaft fall down), in XTRAIL after about 6 teeth (signal from crankshaft fall down) and after about 6 teeth (signal from crankshaft is up). My question is the timing on this car is OK?
Thank you very much for your help. The waveforms look almost identical, in my opinion the minimum deviation of 1-2* is considered normal wear of the chain. In any case, there is no possibility for the timing to skip a tooth or two, because a jump of 2 teeth in this engine is a difference of about 30*, one 15*.I also checked the injection timing and it is present in TDC.
In that case, I have to look for the fault further, because the car runs badly, works unevenly, there is knocking combustion.
