Importing Custom Probes

Post by Joshasta »

Hey guys,

I can't seem to import custom probes the same way as I did in Picoscope 6.
Picoscope 6, I go Tools-Custom Probes-Import
How do I do that in Picoscope 7?

If anyone knows, Thanks!!

Hi Joshasta,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Currently importing probes hasn't been fully integrated into PS7 but there is a work around.

If you have a file saved which used a custom probe, that probe stays with the file. This means when you open the file in PS7 and click the probe tab in the channel options, right at the bottom of the panel you will see the custom probe. You will also see the option to Save which when clicked will save that probe into your library. The following YouTube video will hopefully help explain the process. https://youtu.be/wrx_hwUuavI

Hope this helps

Kind regards

Ben

Hey Guys,

is there any way now to import the custom probes at least from pico 7 to pico 7 beta?
Got a couple of custom probes, so the workaround takes some time.

Thanks,
markus
